When our electrical panel in our 1978 house failed, we knew we were in for an expensive repair. Taylor from Archetype was our 3rd bid for the job and won our business with his professional and thorough explanation and fair pricing. There was no high pressure “today’s price” sales pitch or an “electric club program” like some of the large electrical companies do. Taylor was punctual, thorough and a stickler to detail. We are thoroughly pleased with the 5 Star service provided and highly recommend Archetype. Update 9/3/2025—Taylor and Archetype to the rescue again! A few nights ago we were awoken to fireworks and popping noises coming from the bedroom ceiling fan! It was a heck of a wake up that morning. Needless to say we knew there were issues and a new fan would be in order. We didn’t hesitate to call Taylor again to come check things out. He’s always a stickler for details and to make sure everything is up to code and installed exactly the way it should be. He found an erroneous wire from the ceiling, climbed into the attack to investigate and found some less than stellar electrical work to one of our wall switches when the house was built 45 years ago. He took care of the issue, installed an up to code junction box and hung the fan perfectly. What I really appreciate about his service is the way he takes time to explain how the wiring should be and how he will fix whatever issues are found. Top notch 5 star service again!

Our wired smoke alarms would randomly go off in the middle of the night. Called Archetype Electric. Excellent customer service. Efficient, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Discussed the problem, came up with a solution that we agreed upon. Had them come back a second time to install a surge protector to protect the whole house. Highly recommend. Update: had Taylor come out again for another job. He placed a new GFCI outlet in the bathroom - ran a new line from the circuit breaker. Higher recommend Taylor. Knows what he is doing, efficient, personable and reasonable.

Taylor did great work! He communicated clearly and gave us a good price on replacing three Federal Pacific panels for our church. He’ll be the first guy I call with any future electrical needs!

Pleasingly Third time to have Archetype out to take care of our electrical needs. A wornout breaker replaced and also installed a whole home surge protector. Everytime we have used him he has been prompt, and his communication is well above average. Everything was explained well and not rushed while on the job. We have no complaints and plan to use again on our next job.

Loving the upgraded kitchen lights/fixture Taylor did for me! He took what I envisioned and brought it to life. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and had great recommendations on what looked best. Will hire again!

I was referred to Archetype by a friend of mine who had previously had work done on their house. I needed help replacing a recessed ceiling light with a chandelier and Taylor came in and walked me through the whole process, and then beautifully connected everything together. Loving our new foyer lights. He also fixed a random issue with our ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms which was really nice. 10/10 will be using their services again.

I had Taylor out to diagnose a flickering primary bedroom light as well as replacing 9 outlets. Taylor was very thorough with his work, taking time to explain everything he was doing and seeing. He also uncovered some shoddy work the previous owner did of cutting out the side of an electrical box and made recommendations on replacing it which I had done. The quality of the work was excellent and I would not hesitate to use Archetype Electric again in the future. Edit: Taylor also came out to swap out our electrical panel, meter base, add an external disconnect, and install a 14-50 outlet for our EV charger. He was knowledgeable on what type of outlets work well for the high power draw of an EV. He did great work all around!

We had an excellent experience working with Taylor and his team. He installed our custom sconces and new light fixtures flawlessly, fixed our track lighting, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done safely and correctly. What really stood out was his attention to detail and commitment to safety. He took the time to check that all of our outlets were properly grounded and explained things clearly along the way. His work was clean, efficient, and high quality, and he was professional and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We are extremely pleased with the work Taylor did to upgrade our main electrical panel. We had a small 100A panel that had zero room for expansion and Taylor upgraded us to a 200A panel and brought several things up to current electrical code. In addition to that, he also found and corrected a grounding issue that had been present and unnoticed by past electricians since the house was built in the early 70's! I'm a stickler for detail and so is Taylor and I really appreciated how he not only was very knowledgeable of what needed to be done, but he took pride in his work to make everything look clean and efficient while being mindful of future access and maintenance. I do most home repairs/upgrades myself but was very glad I left this one to an absolute professional. The best part of working with Taylor was his willingness to explain everything thoroughly. I had lots of questions and he took the time to answer every one of them. I would not hesitate for a second to call on Taylor again. Thanks so much!!
